 BACK
TO FRONT

F orT.Quality, asa wholesaler of fish and chips, as well as other
fast foods, delivering to
customers around the country reliability is key, especially for its
refrigerated products. Any downtime due to a mechanical problem can be very costly as the foodstuffs, especially the chilled produce, has a limited life, so the company

It also means that Hull-based T. Quality is always looking for ways to improve its fleet, and that opportunity arose recently when the time came to renew part of its rigid fleet.
Traditionally, T. Quality operate split- load rigid bodies to deal with its loads of ambient and chilled products, with the first part of the body in a curtainside format
andafridgeunitattheback. However, this format has had reliability issues over the years, especially with the fridge unit, and T. Quality wanted to see if other, better options were available.
T. Quality went to Fraikin, which has provided commercial vehicle fleet services to the company for more than 20 years, to discuss new vehicles and it was decided that the traditional layout needed to change.
