Cartwright Group has won its first major order from Goldstar Heathrow, one of the UK’s leading airfreight logistics companies.

Goldstar recently ordered 37 trailers from Cartwright, after a tender process involving three trailer manufacturers. Pricing and quality were the key factors behind the decision to award the contract to Cartwright.

The order includes a mix of standard fridge trailers, standard curtainsiders and step frame double-deck curtainsiders, specified with highly specialised roller bed floor systems for aircraft containers.

Charlie Fulk, Director of Goldstar Heathrow, commented: “We were pleased with our discussions with Cartwright and felt we could develop a long-term relationship with them.

“We visited their headquarters for a factory tour and also spoke to some of their customers. The feedback was good.

“They said they would deliver in 12 weeks and the trailers were all delivered virtually onschedule, which was very impressive. It was the right decision.”
